Some couples collect souvenirs. Jody Ness and Amie DiCarlo collect adventures, business ideas and unexpected complications.
Their new series, We’ve Got Baggage, has officially premiered on Tasted.TV, introducing viewers to a globe-trotting romantic comedy inspired by the couple’s real-life adventures.
At its heart, the series is about love, ambition, business and second chances. Jody and Amie have already built successful lives and careers, but they are not interested in quietly settling down. Instead, they are building something new together, one destination, decision and occasionally chaotic experience at a time.
Jody is a restaurateur with an instinct for recognizing a good opportunity. Amie is a fashion and jewellery entrepreneur whose creativity, connections and enthusiasm can open doors almost anywhere. Together, they are romantic partners, travelling companions and potential business partners, although they do not always agree on which role should come first.

That tension gives We’ve Got Baggage its energy. Every journey begins as an escape, but rarely stays that way for long. A romantic getaway can become a product-development meeting. A family tradition can inspire a new venture. A quiet conversation can turn into a decision that changes what comes next.
The premiere episode, “The Peach Pit,” takes Jody and Amie on a driving tour through Italy, where Amie introduces Jody to pesche dolci, the traditional peach-shaped cookies she grew up loving.
Jody immediately sees a business opportunity. The challenge is convincing Amie’s family to share its closely guarded recipe.
It is a story that captures everything distinctive about the series: genuine affection, playful disagreement, Italian hospitality and the increasingly blurred line between taking a vacation and starting a business.
Filmed against the cinematic backdrop of Italy and delivered in stunning 4K, We’ve Got Baggage combines the polish of scripted television with the warmth, humour and unpredictability of real life.

It is not simply a show about where Jody and Amie travel. It is about what travelling together reveals about their relationship, their ambitions and the future they are trying to create.
As they explore new places, meet remarkable people and pursue increasingly unexpected opportunities, every destination becomes part of a much bigger journey.
We’ve Got Baggage is now streaming free on Tasted.TV, available on Roku and Google TV/Android TV.
